Rockaoke Road Trip to Aberdeen

That was one hell of a weekend!

This past Saturday, we made the long trek north of the border up to Aberdeen to play at the Sausage & Cider Festival. The 7-hour road trip was worth it for 30 types of cider, 20 types of sausage and 45 minutes of Rockaoke!

On the Sunday, we stayed in Aberdeen for yet another round of Countryoke at Summer In Nashville, the UK’s biggest touring country music festival. Rockaoke road trips are always fun, but this one really was an adventure.

Life is a highway, and the Rockaoke boys want to ride it all night long!

COUNTRYOKE @ The Long Road Festival 2026

That’s right, the summer festival season is still in full swing. It’s time to dig out your cowboy boots and get ready for another round of Countryoke at the Long Road Festival 2026!

Countryoke is live band karaoke featuring country, americana and roots music. Basically, it’s what we normally do but with a country and western twist!

Former Rockaoke Star is now the PM!!

Fun fact: the new Prime Minister Andy Burnham has previously sung onstage with Rockaoke!

Andy first performed with us at the Labour Party Conference after party back in 2015 (over a decade ago now… yikes) and has got up again on several occasions. Here’s a vid of him belting out a rendition of I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles:

He also got a mention in this article from NME at the time. Let’s hope his prime ministerial skills are as good as his musical tastes!

COUNTRYOKE @ Summer In Nashville 2026

The Rockaoke gang got our cowboy boots and hats on again this June to do a spot of COUNTRYOKE at Summer In Nashville, the UK’s biggest country music festival!

This should go without saying, but we really love our job. We get to travel, visit cool places and play some awesome gigs!! We also particularly love being able to create unforgettable memorable moments for people! We really hope this little girl never forgets the first time she got on stage and sang Countryoke with a live band in front of thousands of people at St Albans!

ROCKAOKE @ Tramlines 2026

Ey up, lads and lasses! It’s nearly that time of year again for the iconic TRAMLINES festival in Hillsborough Park, Sheffield! And guess what? This year, ROCKAOKE is joining the lineup!!

If you’re in our hometown of Sheffield this summer and fancy feeling like a rock star, this is your chance! You can get up and sing with us at LIVE FROM THE LIBRARY on Friday 24th July. It’s gonna be all reyt, tha knows!
