It’s a shame this song can’t be in the Rockaoke set the whole time. It’s also a shame that no one picked it at the BBC6 Music Festival. I imagine it would have torn a hole in the side of the Victoria Warehouse. As it was, ‘Two Pints of Lager and a packet of crisps please’ by Splodgenessabounds provided one of our favourite ever rehearsal run throughs.
Rockaoke rip through some shiny new tunes learnt for the BBC6 Music Festival at The Victoria Warehouse. This round of superstars served up classics from Squeeze, Elvis Costello and The Tom Robinson band. Consensus is a few of these may stay in the set.
