BBC6 Music Festival Rehearsals – Best of the rest
Yellow Arch rehearsal studios in Sheffield took a battering last Wednesday as Rockaoke prepared for the BBC6 Music Festival with a day of rehearsals. Here are some of their favourite new tunes.
BBC6 Music Festival Rockaoke – Two Pints and a packet full of rehearsal
It’s a shame this song can’t be in the Rockaoke set the whole time. It’s also a shame that no one picked it at the BBC6 Music Festival. I imagine it would have torn a hole in the side of the Victoria Warehouse. As it was, ‘Two Pints of Lager and a packet of crisps please’ by Splodgenessabounds provided one of our favourite ever rehearsal run throughs.
BBC6 Music Festival Rockaoke – Pumping up the new tunes
Rockaoke rip through some shiny new tunes learnt for the BBC6 Music Festival at The Victoria Warehouse. This round of superstars served up classics from Squeeze, Elvis Costello and The Tom Robinson band. Consensus is a few of these may stay in the set.
Shaun Keaveny Rockaoke at BBC6 Music Festival – Who’s The Boss?
Shaun Keaveny and Nat from Nottingham take to the stage with Rockaoke to show who’s The Boss of the BBC 6 music Festival Fringe at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.

Carfest North Rockaoke Highlights ft. Chris Evans
Here are the highlights of the second of our two Carfest gigs last summer. This one in Cheshire saw many excellent performances, including a rock chick hammering Led Zepellin, a mother and her kids bopping to Winehouse and two brothers showing their Survivor skills. Great days and proof that Rockaoke belongs on the BIG STAGE.
