ROCKAOKE @ Marillion Weekend 2025
STEVOFEST was a large scale private festival to celebrate a landmark birthday in 2017. We think it went so well that they decided to run the whole thing again in 2019. ROCKAOKE were invited to appear at both events.
The events management team were asked to create one family’s very own Glastonbury. With input from the family, the events team managed to do just that. A large scale full-on festival with lots of great bands, artists, food & drink and other great attractions. A key part of the family’s requirements, ROCKAOKE were last band on the main stage on the saturday night. Allowing the birthday boy and his family and friends to literally headline their own festival.
There is a really cool highlights movie below. ROCKAOKE clips start around 06:30. Also a ROCKAOKE photo gallery featuring some great action and epic stage dives!

Rockaoke have been running regular nights in London for the last 10 years, giving people the platform to lose their inhibitions and unleash their inner rockstar!!
Our nights have seen us take on such venues as Punk, The Phoenix, Proud Galleries, AAA Bar, The London Cocktail Club and the iconic Madame Jojo’s.
Now with a new roster of regular monthly nights, including one in Sheffield, the birth place of Rockaoke, you can sing with Rockaoke on most Friday nights, with the addition of a monthly Thursday and Sunday.
Our Rockaoke Nights are as follows:
1st Friday of the month – Radicals and Victuallers – Islington.
1st Thursday of the month – The Dogstar, Brixton.
2nd Friday of the month – Tooting Tram and Social, Tooting.
Last Friday of the month – The Star of Kings, Kings Cross.
Last Friday of the month – The Mulberry, Sheffield.
For one of the most fun nights you can have without getting arrested…….then come to one of our nights!
The great and good of left-leaning politics woke up with sore heads and bleary eyes this morning, in the aftermath of the Mirror’s legendary Labour Conference party.
The event, branded the “best night of conference” by Jeremy Corbyn himself, saw Labour luminaries let down their hair – and do questionable karaoke with our live house band ROCKAOKE.
Our memory of the evening is fairly hazy to be honest, but here’s a few things from last night’s conference party that we just couldn’t unsee.
On Friday 16th June, the Chellow Hearts charity will be hosting ‘To The Moon and Back’: a 1-night only rockstar experience at Bradford & Bingley Sports Club in memory of Thomas Arthur Hall, who was born sleeping.
A night filled with live music, plenty to drink, photo opportunities and for the main attraction, if you’re feeling brave enough…you can test out your vocals by taking to the stage with Rockaoke.
Tickets are just £16.00 per person and every penny will go to 2 incredible charities in memory of baby Thomas (along with any other money raised on the night).
Chellow Hearts is a charity which was set up by parents, family, friends and teachers of Chellow Heights Special School in Bradford to provide funds to advance the education of the schools pupils.
Sands Bradford support anyone who is affected by the death of a baby. They work to improve the care bereaved parents receive, and promote research to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.
We’d love to see you there, catch you up on that stage singing away, and raise a glass or two with you in memory of a truly wonderful little man. We really appreciate any support you can offer.
If you’re unable to attend, but would still love to donate then please feel free to contact Chellow Hearts. You can visit the official event Facebook page for more info.

For the past two years, ROCKAOKE have been guests of honour at the annual Marillion Weekender – an intense few days of rock and roll hosted by none other than British neo-progressive rock band MARILLION. They apparently love us so much that they’ve asked us back again this year… and we could not be more excited!
You can look out for us this coming weekend at Port Zelande, Holland. We’ll be on Saturday and Sunday after the main shows have finished, so if you’re not quite ready to call it a day then be sure to head over to the Adventure Factory where we will be rocking out late into the night!
