ROCKAOKE perform on A League Of Their Own

Quite possibly one of the most fun days at ‘work’ we’ve had!!

When we were invited onto A League Of Their Own by Sky we weren’t really sure what to expect, but we always say expect the unexpected. This was quite possibly one of the most fun 12hrs in ROCKAOKE history!

We played the intros and the outros while sharing a studio with Wayne Rooney, Maya Jama and host Romesh Ranganathan, who gave us a big introduction. Maya even joined us onstage to perform her go-to karaoke song – When The Sun Goes Down by Arctic Monkeys.

Highlights from Marillion Weekend 2025

Here are some more awesome ROCKAOKE highlights from this year’s Marillion Weekender! These include Marillion’s manager Lucy joining us onstage to unleash her inner rock queen!

It’s been such a privilege to have been a part of these magical music events hosted by Marillion over the past 10 years. It all started back in 2015 when we were asked to come out and play at their Weekender at Port Zelande in the Netherlands, and we’ve been playing the late night/early morning after-shows ever since.

It’s looking like this year’s weekend may have been the final one ever, so we had to make sure it went out with a big bang! But, as James Bond would say, never say never again…

It was a big night for ROCKAOKE in Liverpool on 30th September 2025, as we performed at the Daily Mirror’s annual iconic Labour Party Conference party!

Hillsborough campaigners accompanied Alex David-Jones as she sang a powerful rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone. We also had cabinet members Wes Streeting, Lisa Nandy and a highly sequinned Jonathan Ashworth belting out Don’t Look Back In Anger.

Mr. Streeting then enthusiastically took the microphone to sing Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me.

Acoustaoke is a stripped down, chilled out, 100% organic, zero emissions version of ROCKAOKE. Using acoustic instruments and minimal sound equipment, Acoustaoke is perfect for where volume and/or space and/or budget restrictions are an issue.

This format has gone down a quiet storm at private house parties as well as corporate events (Time Out London summer party, Persil Mosh & Wash, EMC, GHD, Asda, Northern Rail, Elle magazine, Hellmann & Friedman xmas party) and on the road at festivals (Camp Bestival, Festival No. 6, Standon Calling). It’s also become a must have piece of entertainment for hen/stag parties.

Let us introduce you to former England international and Liverpool footballer, MBE, and now ROCKAOKE SUPERSTAR, John Barnes!

ROCKAOKE have been an integral part of the FA Grassroots Football Awards for the last 3 years as the ‘House Band’, playing fully bespoke live awards stings which go down a storm. If you don’t believe us, ask Mark Chapman himself!

Farewell to The Long Road Festival 2025

Another year, another spectacular weekend of Country-oke & Americana tunes at The Long Road Fest 2025!

ROCKAOKE played 11 hours of Country tunes in Buddy’s Bar, and every second was the best fun! No matter how many times we played ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ everyone sang along and had a damn good time. Roll on TLR 2026!
