Rockaoke return to the awesome Meraki Festival in august 2018.
Amidst an absolutely incredible festival summer 2018 for Rockaoke, we are delighted to be giving audiences a chance to join us on stage again at one of our favourite festivals of 2017. Meraki Festival.
A truly magical place full of incredible live music, electric atmospheres and exciting experiences. Including ROCKAOKE!
Come and unleash your inner diva, crooner or rock god with us from 15:50 -16:35 or again at 17:45 – 18:30. Children are as welcome on stage as well as the ‘big kids’ too. Let’s see who gives the best performances!
Summer is one of the busiest times of the year for Rockaoke, as not only do we have a plethora of corporate summer parties, weddings and private events lined up, but also a full calendar playing some of the UK’s top music festivals!
Ever since we played at our first major UK festival back in 2007 (in the VIP area at V Festival), we have forged a reputation as one of the go-to interactive festival experiences. Using our ability to interact with and engage audiences both large and small, we’ve been booked as part of brand experiences and in our own right at festivals such as Standon Calling, Meraki and Car Fest. We give festival goers the experience of feeling like a rock star and fronting their own rock band; an experience not unlike that of the bands they’ve come to see….
So crack open a cold cider and get ready to unleash your inner rock god at a festival near you this summer:

Kaiser Chiefs may have performed on the main stage on the Friday afternoon of the Isle Of Wight Festival, but frontman Ricky Wilson wasn’t ready to go home just yet.
Ricky made a surprise appearance at the Rockaoke stage, aka Camp Kiwi on Sunday afternoon (11 June).
The one-time coach on The Voice treated surprised fans to renditions of Kaiser Chiefs classics including Ruby and I Predict A Riot, swapping the rest of the Chiefs with the Rockaoke band.
Just a few weeks ago, a family of 3,000 from around the world made their way to Holland for The Marillion Weekend 2017. The Marillion crew make up one of the coolest, most loyal and hard working bands on the planet. They served up 3 amazing nights of prog rock wonder for their glorious fans, and 2 nights of brilliant Rockaoke after parties for those who wanted to party even harder – which was everyone! Here are some of the highlights from yet another unforgettable weekend. Bring on 2019!
The line-up for Standon Calling 2016 has been announced – and it’s fantastic! ROCKAOKE will be there all weekend, either at the Clock Tower, on the Main Stage, or doing Acoustaoke in the Old Mout Cider area.

Through our regular nights at AAA in South Kensington, we made friends with some of the people who work with the rock band MARILLION. The upshot of this was they asked us to come out and play at their Weekender at Port Zelande in the Netherlands in march 2015. We were scheduled to play an aftershow party on the saturday and sunday nights – well the early hours of the following mornings to be precise.
We anticipated 2 great shows. But fair to say we didn’t quite know what to expect. Marillion pretty much invented the whole crowd funding thing and owe their continued existence to their fanatically loyal / loyally fanatical fanbase. Over the weekend, it felt like we were adopted as a part of this wonderful family the band and their fans have created. Being part of a family is just how it felt!
The 2 shows were brilliant. We were made very welcome and enjoyed playing with some fabulous performers who all well and truly bought into the spirit of Rockaoke. We all had a lot of fun!
The highlight of the weekend came around 1am on monday morning when Marillion singer Steve Hogarth (“H”) joined us on stage. We reckon he’d been performing for around 10 hours over the weekend but he still managed to muster the energy and the voice to perform 3 songs as a thankyou to his adoring fans.
